Cheeseburger in Bellflower

The cheeseburger is the order most people at the Omega Burgers counter already have in mind before they look at the board. You can order it four ways: CheeseBurger, Double Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger Combo, and Double Cheeseburger Combo. Pick the one that matches your appetite and whether you want sides with it.

The Double Cheeseburger is built on a quarter-pound charbroiled patty with homemade 1000 island dressing, onions, shredded lettuce, and tomato, with cheese and a second patty stacked on. The single CheeseBurger is the same char-broiled burger with cheese and one patty instead of two. If you are new to the stand, the single is the honest place to start; the double is for the days when one patty will not do.

The combos do the deciding for you on sides. The Cheeseburger Combo and the Double Cheeseburger Combo are each served with your choice of small fries or regular salad and include a medium-size soft drink. If you would rather have onion rings or a shake instead of the standard side, order the burger on its own and add the extras separately.

This is a lunch that works for Cerritos College students between classes, Kaiser Permanente Bellflower staff on a break, and families stopping on Bellflower Blvd after practice. Eat it at the outdoor patio or take it with you.
