Pastrami Bowls in Bellflower

Pastrami runs all through the Omega Burgers menu, and the Pastrami Bowls are how you order it without bread. Under Side Orders you will find Bowl of Pastrami and Half Pastrami. The names tell you what you get: pastrami, served in a bowl, in a full or a half portion.

Bowl of Pastrami is the full-size option. It is the order for someone who wants pastrami as the main event, or for a table that plans to add pastrami to burgers, fries, and whatever else is coming out of the kitchen. Half Pastrami is the smaller bowl, which works as a side for one person or as a way to try the pastrami next to a burger without committing to the full amount.

The order page lists both bowls without a description, so the bowl is exactly what the name says. If you want pastrami in a sandwich, a burrito, or on a burger, those are separate items on the menu; the bowls are the plain, bread-free version.

Who orders them this way: people cutting back on bread, Kaiser Permanente Bellflower staff who want a protein-heavy lunch for the break room, and families building a spread where the pastrami gets passed around the table. Students coming from Cerritos College sometimes order a Half Pastrami to pile onto their Fries.

Both bowls are easy to carry out, which makes them a steady pickup order on Bellflower Blvd, and they fit a delivery order to Downey, Paramount, or Norwalk inside the delivery range.
