Turkey Burger in Bellflower

A turkey burger from a char-broiler is a different thing from a turkey burger off a flat griddle, and that is the reason to order this one at Omega Burgers. You can order it five ways: Turkey Burger, Double Turkey Burger, Turkey Burger Combo, Double Turkey Burger Combo, and Double Turkey Cheese Burger Combo.

The Turkey Burger comes with a quarter-pound charbroiled patty, homemade 1000 island dressing, onions, shredded lettuce and tomato. That is the same dressing and the same toppings as the beef burgers, so the turkey version is not a stripped-down diet plate. It is the full stand burger with a turkey patty in the middle.

The Double Turkey Burger is the Turkey Burger with a second patty. The Turkey Burger Combo and the Double Turkey Burger Combo add a side and a drink to the single and the double, and the Double Turkey Cheese Burger Combo is the only cheese option in the turkey family, sold as a combo. The order page lists the combos without a description, so the exact side and drink choices show when you order.

This is a common pick for Kaiser Permanente Bellflower staff who want a burger without beef, for Cerritos College students who order turkey by habit, and for a family table where one person wants something different from everyone else. It takes the same sides and shakes as any other burger on the board, and it travels well for pickup or delivery.
