Ham Sandwiches in Bellflower

Grilled ham, two ways. Omega Burgers offers a Ham Sandwich and a Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich, and both start with the same thick slice of grilled ham.

The Ham Sandwich is a thick slice of grilled ham served on toast with mayonnaise, lettuce, and tomatoes. It is the lunchbox sandwich made properly: the ham is grilled rather than cold, and the toast holds up to it.

The Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich is a thick slice of grilled ham served with 2 slices of melted american cheese on grilled toast. No lettuce, no tomato, no mayonnaise on this one; it is the hot, pressed version, and the closest thing on the board to a grilled cheese with meat.

For either sandwich, the combo includes small fries or a regular salad and a medium soda. Parents ordering for kids, Downtown Bellflower workers wanting something simple, and Kaiser Permanente Bellflower staff on a short break are the usual crowd.
