Mexican Food in Bellflower

The Mexican Food section at Omega Burgers is built around two proteins and a handful of formats. Carne asada is chopped seasoned steak; chicken breast is chopped marinated chicken breast. Each shows up as a burrito, a quesadilla, a taco, and a tostada. The Carne Asada Burrito wraps the steak in an extra-large toasted flour tortilla with beans, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onions, and homemade salsa. The Chicken Breast Burrito swaps in homemade rice alongside the chicken. The Carne Asada Taco and Chicken Breast Taco each use 2 large grilled corn tortillas, while the plain Taco is seasoned ground beef in a deep-fried hard shell with cheddar, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and taco sauce.

The Carne Asada Quesadilla and Chicken Breast Quesadilla come in a grilled flour tortilla with melted cheddar and a side of lettuce, tomatoes, and 1000 island dressing; the plain Quesadilla is served with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and homemade 1000 island. The Carne Asada Tostada and Chicken Breast Tostada come on a hard corn tortilla topped with beans, cheddar, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and salsa, and there is a plain Tostada as well. The Bean Burrito is a large portion of beans with cheese, onions, and taco sauce, and the Taquitos are 2 all-beef taquitos with a side of taquito sauce.

Two things are particular to this counter. Pastrami crosses over as the Pastrami Burrito, an extra-large portion of pastrami with cheddar and onions in a toasted tortilla, and as the Pastrami Quesadilla. And the Homemade Chili gets its own set of orders: Homemade Chili Bowl, Homemade Chili with Beans, Homemade Chili with a Tamale, and Homemade Chili Size, which is 2 chopped hamburger patties on a toasted bun under beans and chili.
